Are you drawn to pray or meditate for certain parts of the world? If so, I am looking for people who are willing to share their astrological chart and answer questions about your experience. I’m looking to determine if there are any kinds of correlations between the geographical location you’re drawn to pray for and your astrocartography. I’d like to know “Do we pray for parts of the world that are connected to places within us that are themselves broken? Are we drawn to pray for places that are connected to some kind of psychological knot we’re trying to unravel in our daily lives at home?” The end result will be a talk that I do for my astrology school.
What is Astrocartography?
Astrocartography is the overlaying of our astrological chart over the globe- it’s a field of astrology that became popular in the 1980’s and it’s based on the idea that when we’re born, we’re kind of born everywhere in the world at once, and different parts of the world are connected to our various planetary placements in our chart. Viewed through a Jungian lens, each planet represents a different aspect of our psyche that wants to become integrated into a mature and individuated adult. Through Astrocartography, we can move to different parts of the world- or possible also just pray or meditate over them!- to access [or heal?] those different parts of our psyche.

Who is leading this?
I am a Canadian, and a former Christian- now an astrologer and meditator- who has recently come back to a renewed prayer/meditation practice out of concern over the state of our country and world. I have a degree in Intercultural Studies (Anthropology and Theology-ish) from a Providence College in Manitoba, and a Political Science degree from the University of Regina in Saskatchewan.

Si oui, je recherche des personnes comme vous, prêtes à partager leur thème astral et à répondre à des questions au sujet de votre expérience. Je cherche à déterminer s’il existe des corrélations entre les lieux géographiques pour lesquels vous êtes attiré(e) par la prière et votre astrocartographie. J’aimerais savoir: « Prions-nous pour des régions du monde liées à nos noeuds psychologiques? Sommes-nous attirés par la prière pour des lieux liés à des difficultés psychologiques que nous essayons de résoudre au quotidien?» Le résultat sera une présentation que je donnerai pour mon école d’astrologie.
Qu’est-ce que l’astrocartographie?
L’astrocartographie consiste à superposer notre thème astral au globe terrestre. Ce domaine de l’astrologie, popularisé dans les années 1980, repose sur l’idée que, lors de notre naissance, nous naissons en quelque sorte partout dans le monde simultanément, et que différentes régions du globe sont liées à la position de nos planètes dans notre thème. D’un point de vue jungien, chaque planète représente une facette de notre psyché qui cherche à s’intégrer pleinement à la vie adulte. Grâce à l’astrocartographie, nous pouvons voyager à travers le monde – ou simplement prier ou méditer sur ces différentes parties de notre psyché – afin d’y accéder et de les guérir.

Qui mène l’étude?
Je suis Canadienne et ancienne chrétienne – aujourd’hui astrologue et méditante – qui a récemment repris une pratique renouvelée de prière et de méditation, préoccupée par les conflits qui se passent dans notre pays et dans le monde. Je suis titulaire d’un diplôme en Études interculturelles (anthropologie et théologie) de Providence College en Manitoba, et d’un diplôme en Sciences politiques de l’Université de Regina en Saskatchewan.
